Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission has not been previously published or has been submitted for consideration by any other magazine.
  • The submission file is presented in Word format, A4, Times New Roman 12 font, single spacing and margins preset by the Word operating system.
  • The citations, bibliographic references, tables and figures that the manuscript presents; is governed by APA Standards 7th edition.
  • Footnotes or footnotes at the end of the document will only be used to clarify or expand on information that does not deserve to be cited in the text.
  • The authors agree to assign the rights to reproduce the article under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license.

Author Guidelines

Important considerations to keep in mind:

1. The articles submitted for review must be original and unpublished.

2. Authors must declare any conflict of interest.

4. Keywords should be as explicit as possible, for which it is recommended to use UNESCO thesauri.

6. Authors must send in their personal data the affiliation institution (up to 3 levels) and the city, country where they perform their duties. Like your email and ORCID, mandatory data to publish.

7. If the study is financed by a project with the use of public or private funds, it must be declared in the document.

8. The journal publishes in Spanish and English.

9. All authors are required to declare their contribution of authorship using the Credit taxonomy.

 

HOW TO PUBLISH?

It is necessary that those interested register in the journal's web portal and send their unpublished articles (not previously published, nor have they been evaluated by another journal -digital or printed- or any platform or database on the Internet). Articles can be submitted in three forms:

  1. Original article: original research derived from different areas of the Social Sciences and Humanities.
  2. Systematic review: “it is a form of research that compiles and provides a summary on a specific topic (oriented to answer a research question).[1]It is suggested to work on systematic reviews using the PRISMA Statement.[2]
  3. Essay: manuscripts that sustain a coherent and rigorous argumentative discourse, exposing topics of academic interest to the international scientific community.

STRUCTURE OF THE WORKS

  • Original article

First page: complete title (no more than fifteen words) in Spanish and English. Authors' data (full name, e-mail, name of the institution to which they belong, city, country, e-mail and ORCID code). Structured abstract of 200 to 250 words approximately in Spanish and English, keywords (maximum six, separated by semicolons), also in Spanish and English. Subsequent pages: introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions and bibliographical references. Maximum length: 20 pages

  • Systematic review

First page: complete title (no more than fifteen words) in Spanish and English. Authors' data (full name, e-mail, name of the institution to which they belong, city, country, e-mail and ORCID code). Abstract of 150 to 200 words approximately in Spanish and English, keywords (maximum six, separated by semicolons), also in Spanish and English. Subsequent pages: introduction, methodology, results, discussion, financing (if applicable), and bibliographic references. Maximum length: 15 pages.

  • Essay

First page: complete title (no more than fifteen words) in Spanish and English. Authors' data (full name, e-mail, name of the institution to which they belong, city, country, e-mail and ORCID code). Abstract of 150 to 200 words in Spanish and English, keywords (maximum six, separated by semicolons), also in Spanish and English. Subsequent pages: introduction, body of the paper (development), conclusions and bibliographical references. Maximum length: 20 pages.

In all cases, articles should be presented in Word format, A4, Times New Roman 12 font, single spacing and margins established by the Word operating system.

For citations and bibliographical references, tables and figures, authors should follow the APA 7th edition standards, which can be consulted in the APA Standards Guide 7th edition document (Download the PDF).

This section publishes original research, review and essay articles, derived from the different areas of human knowledge, understood as Exact Sciences and Engineering, as well as Social Sciences and Humanities.

ARTÍCULOS DE REVISIÓN

Esta sección publica “investigaciones realizadas sobre un tema determinado, en las que se reúnen, analizan y discuten informaciones ya publicadas (Ramírez-Ramírez, et al, 2009), que son de gran utilidad para la sistematización y actualización del conocimiento.

ENSAYOS

Esta sección publica anuscritos rigurosos que, sosteniendo un discurso argumentativo coherente, sintetiza la relevancia de un tema para comunidad académica internacional.
