DEFINITION OF THE JOURNAL

Delectus is a scientific journal specializing in the field of Applied Social Sciences, published by the National Institute for Research and Continuing Education of Peru, in co-edition with the University of Las Tunas (Cuba), within the framework of the Academic Cooperation Agreement between the University of Las Tunas (Cuba) and the National Institute for Research and Continuing Education (Peru), signed by both parties on November 20, 2025.

Objective: Its purpose is to publish high-quality scientific research in areas such as pedagogy, instruction, teaching, learning, and teacher training and development. Studies considered for publication must specifically focus on didactics, teaching, and learning.

Specific Thematic Scope: The journal concentrates on research related to Teacher Training, Pedagogy, Didactics, Educational Formation, and the Psychology of Learning. It also includes studies developed in various specialties, as long as they maintain a connection with didactics, teaching, and learning.

Frequency: Delectus is published continuously and biannually. Before January 1, 2024, it was issued biannually, with editions in January and July. From that date onwards, it adopted a continuous publication format to facilitate more immediate dissemination of its content.

Target Audience: It is aimed at a diverse audience including researchers, educators, students, and professionals interested in areas of pedagogy, instruction, teaching, and learning.

EDITORIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The editorial management is responsible for the evaluation, electronic publication and international indexing of the journal. The content of the publications may be reproduced in part or in whole, provided that the source is cited according to international standards.

The editorial direction of the journal is not responsible for the opinions of the authors. Neither does it necessarily share their criteria and ideas.

Delectus Journal accepts manuscripts previously submitted to preprint servers, provided the authors expressly declare this status at the time of submission. Furthermore, when the collected data are hosted in a repository or data server, this reference must be clearly indicated. It is recommended that the complete data be available for consultation from the moment the manuscript is submitted, in accordance with Open Science best practices (https://revista.inicc-peru.edu.pe/index.php/delectus/openaccess).
